Concept: Ambience Magazine

Ambience is a magazine that combined travel with creative public arts. By looking beyond the mainstream public arts and designs, Ambience hopes to deliver a unique travel experience to their readers by offering them the most exciting updates on street arts, installation designs, contemporary galleries, and festivals around the world.

The potential readers of Ambience are highly educated people between the ages of 21 to 35 who enjoy visiting and seeing public arts while travelling. In order to get the attention of these readers, Ambience used many bright, colourful, and playful photographs and graphic treatments to highlight energetic and stylish moods.

The challenge for creating this project was to understand the needs of the readers and to bring in content and images that would reflect their hobbies and lifestyles. At the same time, because Ambience is a magazine that features creative public arts, the look of the magazine needs to be considered as fresh and leading-edge.
